By accessing or using My Glass Cookbook (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by My Glass Cookbook, a sole proprietorship based in Quebec, Canada (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. Description of Service
My Glass Cookbook is a digital application that allows users to:
• Document fused glass projects
• Store kiln schedules
• Upload photos, notes, and related content
• Access educational materials and resources
• Share content with collaborators (where enabled)
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
3. Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account.
You agree to:
• Provide accurate information
• Maintain the security of your login credentials
• Be responsible for all activity under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
• By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until cancellation.
• You may cancel at any time.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No partial refunds are provided unless required by law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload (“User Content”).
By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to:
• Store
• Host
• Display
• Process
Your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content:
• Does not infringe on intellectual property rights
• Is not unlawful, harmful, or abusive
We may remove content that violates these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All software, branding, logos, design elements, and original materials within the Service are owned by My Glass Cookbook and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not:
• Reverse engineer
• Copy
• Resell
• Redistribute the Service without permission
7. Educational Content Disclaimer
Educational materials and kiln schedules provided through the Service are for informational purposes only.
We make no guarantees regarding:
• Firing results
• Glass performance
• Equipment safety
• Artistic outcomes
Users are solely responsible for safe kiln operation and proper material handling.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties, express or implied, including:
• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted availability
• Error-free operation
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
My Glass Cookbook shall not be liable for:
• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Business interruption
• Equipment damage
• Kiln damage
• Personal injury resulting from use of the Service
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.
10. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination:
• Your access may be revoked
• Your content may be deleted after a reasonable retention period
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
