Hi, Jackie Knowles (of the Glasswork Pixie studio) here!

I began the art of glass fusing in childhood after being taught it by my father, and launched my own professional studio in 2017. I've meticulously documented my creation processes over many years of research, experimentation, and trial-and-error in order to formally share it with other creatives via educational and instructional materials.

I've created a comprehensive glass fusing instructional video course (freely available on my YouTube and website), will be releasing a stained glass course in Fall 2026, and hope to produce additional skill-specific/project-specific courses in the future. I also have a Studio Journal on my website where I share further insights into my creation processes and latest projects.
